[QUOTE=john1192;2303105]not to be a nudge, but i found this is 10 seconds ..

"Right now I don't even know what's compatible with what, what Avid wants me to pay, what OS/PT version combos are stable, what OS version Apple is still signing for my ProTools rig"

Indeed. And you'll notice that 11.3.2 (the original topic of this post) is not mentioned. Is it 10.10.5 safe? Who can tell?

My point (and that of many other long time PT fans) is that the whole thing sucks and stinks of corporate greed. It's a money grab, plain and simple. Like many of you, I know the giant sucking sound of upgrading to PT10 (what, like $1500?). I remember $3500 TDM crossgrades for PCIe.

On the other hand, were I speaking from Avid's perspective, I'd say this: someone has to pay the freight for Apple's constant OS updates. Avid should be compensated for doing its best to keeping everyone as happy as possible, from amateur users to expensive studio ops.

The problem is, as we know, Avid just ignores us. Maybe the moderators see it differently. I personally see the Moderator program as a way for Avid to do even less in terms of actual user relations. (Though we all love you guys...)
