Default Guitar fx on your iPhone/iTouch/iPad from IK!

Just got an email from them today. Looks pretty interesting. I like the look of the GUI. Wonder if it sounds as cool as it looks.

Probably the reason the StealthBoard is delayed.

PRS had something like this for a while. More a "jam app" than a "modeller app", though.

Seems like a waste of money, battery life for a phone/ipod, and probably won't sound that great in comparison to something like amplitube 3 or Eleven LE (which you can get for a similar price off ebay, including the ilok transfer fee). Cool concept I guess but in all honesty what would be the use?? The only reason I use amp modelers is for recording or live work which this probably won't cut it. The only use would be it's very mobile but won't be based on the fact the battery would last a total of an hour at best... I would have expected IK to be using their time for more productive R&D.

But you see where this is going with today's handsets having more and more features of full computers. In a few years you will be carying "Eleven Rack" in your pocket, with 6h battery life and you will be streaming your audio to FOH without wires.

Meh I'm not a fan of Eleven Rack first of all (I'd rather have a 003 for that kind of money, just based on the number of inputs and Firewire). Second of all the new hardware they will have by then will be greater than what they make for hand held devices as it always has been... So therefor it will probably be most feeseable to make music on a full rig as you will have more space... Have you ever tried to type on a phone it's annoying just based on the amount of finger space. It's nowhere close to typing on a keyboard. Basically I think the idea of making music on a phone is moronic and a pipe dream at best. Personal opinion of course.

Sorry, I heard April based on what Dan from IK said at about 3:15 in this video.

I do see that your website says 2nd Qtr for the StealthBoard.

Didn't mean to offend anyone, just anxious for a review.

That is odd. Marco Aicardi from IK Multimedia mailed me (on 30 april) that it will be released the 3rd quater (in Europe).

More over last Saturday IK multimedia stated on their facebook: "We expected to be able to ship June but it looks like it will be more end of July or Beginning August...there is also a nice surprise regarding AmpliTube that goes with the StealthBoard release so stay tuned..." I found the confirmation of the 3rd quater already a BIG surprise, #%&&! !

Please put this kind of info on the Stealthboard website and change the delivery from soon in to an actual month.

What is the reason for the delay???

Musicians First????????? Then send me the Manual of the Stealthboard in pdf so I can start buying the right adapters and connections.
