Love the Regiongroups

Hello there just wanted to tell everyone I love the regiongroups. Realy cleans up my sessions.

Now get that Clipbased Undo Redo implemented.
And drop this Audiosuite format thing!

Maybe I am missing something but why do we need an
Audiosuite format for offline fx.

There are Plugs I only have as RTAS or Wrapped VST´s why shouldn´t it be
possible to render these Offline. Why does there exist an Audiosuite Format.

And I still miss Clipbased Undo Redo for Offline FX and a sort of Batchprocessing.

Audiosuite processes the audio in one shot and renders a new audio track with whatever treatment so you are saving on CPU and RAM by not using so many RTAS plugins. It is kind of the Protools equivalent of the FREEZE function in some other DAW software.

using audiosuite is far from beeing an equivalent of a freeze function.


So still the question why does someone need an extra format for offline fx.
why can´t i just use my rtas or wraped vst fx.
Destructive offline fx rendering is so outdated.

all the other daws make no difference between realtime and offline fx.
and they offerNondistructive Offline Rendering.

Let´s hope for 7.4
