HI.
A little info:
I use PT 12.8.2 R2 on Windows with a C|24 mixer.

When recording guitar, I always record with a DI.
The amped and DI guitar are grouped with Record, solo etc. enabled so that I just hit record on the amped track and DI is record enabled as well. This is all fine. Also, I set the view to mini on all the DI tracks as I don’t need to see them and take up on-screen space.
I would like to have these DI tracks hidden from my C|24.

Basically; Is there a way to hide these tracks from my C|24 and keep the record link enabled? When activating hide on these tracks, the record function is not working.

One other idea; move the DI track all the way to one end of your tracks
