Default Crash after offline bounce

Pro Tools 2023-2023.9. Windows 10.

After bouncing offline, Pro Tools crashes, becomes unresponsive, I have to force-quit.
Yes, I have completely reinstalled windows, absolutely NO plugins installed, and still Pro Tools crashes after offline bounce. It also happens when bouncing from midi to an audio track. Online bouncing is good, also commit clip to audio.
It's very annoying.
TIA!

And yes, I have tried searching for a thread about this, and couldn't find any, not new, anyways, but maybe I don't know how to search. I am sure somebody will mock me and ask me to google etcetera, but...

And what do you mean by "no plugins installed".

Do you mean

1. You removed all the .aaxplugin files from the plugin folder?

2. You don't have any plugins instantiated in the session (placed in inserts)

3. You never installed any additional Avid plugins? Or any additional third party plugins on your system?

Only #1 is the solid test of plugin issues, follow the standard troubleshooting steps to temp. remove all .aaxplugin files and see if the problem goes away, put them back in batches trying to find the plugin(s) that might be causing problems. But as always start troubleshooting with trashing prefs.

... as I said, I completely wiped the pc/reinstalled windows 10, and NOTHING ELSE! Then installed Pro Tools 2023.9 and still it crashed bouncing.
(I have seen all the other threads where the only advice was reinstalling one plugin after another, checking).
