tdm vs venue tdm license?

Do venue TDM plugins use the same license as regular pro tools hd TDM plugs or do they require a different license?

They are the same for all plug-ins that we're familiar with, but a manufacturer could choose to split them out.

My TDM Producer Pack Pro licenses will not function on Moog or Voce plugins (among others) on VENUE despite updates and replacements of the plugins on the mixer.

I consider the $400 I spent on licenses to be wasted money and would demand a refund, but am told I'm stuck once I transferred the license to my ilok.

If you look this recent thread of mine (couple of posts down), the last response, you will be guided to install not the VENUE but Win/PC TDM plugins from Windows Desktop for these problematic plugins.

I see these problems with AVID plugins only, so that makes the situation even more bizarre

The issue then becomes that the reverse is true, the plugins won't work with the VENUE plugin licenses used by guest engineers.

I really don't want to have to remove and reinstall plugins, nor do I wish to leave my ilok in the console when I'm away from it.
