Default Video Engine Problems

So today I got an error message:

"Connection to the Video Engine has been broken. Would you like to reconnect?"

I click yes.. then it says something like Video Engine is shutting down... but then I get the same error message again. Kinds of goes in circles, and then stops.

I've not used the Intensity Pro video card with PT before and am wondering if this might be part of the problem...

Also, video proformance seems a bit sluggish, even with this new setup... Sometimes sessions with pix plays... and sometimes sessions with pix won't play.

I'm using the Intensity Pro with 11HD and it's mostly fine, with the exception of a little lag when hitting play (which is incredibly annoying when you're doing some spotting in post). Where as in 10HD it's fine.

Have you re-installed the latest Blackmagic drivers?
