Default MIDI Records Ahead of the Beat.

HELP - Is this still unsolved!?? No it is NOT whether or not the buffer is too high and/or setting up low latency monitoring nor is it inserting ANY Offset! SO WHAT IS THE FIX??? This randomly started occurring after years and years of perfect MIDI operation with ProTools. The beat is 1/16th to a 32nd TOO FAST. Spent endless hours yesterday and today rigorously trying anything and everything and also found hundreds of posts on the same issue without any clear and true FIX. What is going on ? Any help here anyone ? Just By Chance!??!
Sure appreciate it. Seems pretty ridiculous to now just have to accept the reverse latency here and have to quantize or move everything over to compensate for the apparent issue. (Especially after years of never having an issue with PT midi.)
Thanks! I know this has been beaten to the ground - but I CANNOT find a FIX ANYWHERE!! And yes it occurs whether it's a small or large VI - in PT or in Standalone - etc etc...Anyways - thanks - sorry for the rant - quite ANNOYED!!!

Could you give LESS info? Has this machine worked okay before? If yes, what has changed? What interface/OS/exact version of PT? We'd love to help, but we got nothing to go on

Thanks !
This machine has worked flawlessly - (Mid 11' i7 Quad 3.4) - OSX 10.6.8 Running PT 9.0.6..
Nothing at All has changed Except I did add a 512 Crucial SSD and dropped EW Hollywood Strings and Brass to it. Though that should not have anything to do with it.

Thanks again :)

So - what's ur grid setup for ?

Is there any auto quantization or input quantization going on ??

You ought to go and check all the midi setups and ur instrument track settings also

I never use a grid smaller than 16th - what are u trying to do ?

Definitely no input quantize enabled and grid-wise, that has never
mattered - is that an issue in PT now ?

Runnin my good ol 002 which has never been a prob. I'm just trying to write my tracks and when I noticed my French horn playback was slightly ahead of the click - I realized something was up. After tons of tweaks and tests - I ended up trying other libraries and found ALL vi's to do the exact same thing. Simple piano quarter notes at playback - all slightly ahead of time. I then realized it's an absolute plague when I googled it - finding innumerable threads about this very thing - Yet No Fix !!! Thanks
