Default Re: consensus on 10?

Seeing as it's only using one and a half cores when I tell it to use more, I'd stay the [expletive deleted] away from it. I'm going to have to setup a 10.6 drive just do do protools because it simply doesn't work with 10.7, even though they say it does.

Avid's a greedy, lazy, marketing driven programming shop that puts out shoddy work.

On 10.0.1 here and no problems...not even the disappearing audio bug.
I do appreciate clip gain.
I am not using the channel strip....no problems with it, just not my style.

Actually I may stay on 10 even after 11 comes out. I really don't need 64 bits. I can do everything I need to do now. I really like the ability to use all of my RTAS plugs & still be able to use AAX ones as they become available. I'm guessing that I won't be able to do that when 11 comes out.

Heck I haven't been paying attention Obsidian Dragon. That's probably why I'm still on the fence knowing 10 will fade when 11 hits the scene. But just curious also what does everyone think is the best OS with 10?, SNOW or Leopard. Have a great weekend everyone.

Not that I doubt anyone's sincerity here and I know I'm having issues with 9, I haven't even gotten around to really digging into 10 yet(installed on a ready and waiting additional system drive). But, I always wonder what the equalizer is between people who are having seemingly overwhelming issues and then those who have none? I mean, the software is working or it isn't, right? Just a thought...
