Internal Drive Size
Hi all, looking to install a larger internal drive
than the 120GB I have now. Anyone using something in the area of 200GB? And are there any issues with using a drive that big? Would probably be whacked into four or five partitions. Thanks! d

Re: Internal Drive Size
d,
not a problem I know of, but... d'ya have a backup stategy? Are you going to simply swap out your 120 for a bigger ATA drive? For a few dollars more, what about the extra 70 bucks for a Seritek/1S2 and go with a big SATA drive? That'd leave your 120GB ATA for backup or whatever, and you could take your SATA drive on to a G5 if you're thinking of maybe doing that in the future. Just a thought. macccool.

Re: Internal Drive Size
I've got two SATA 200G drives in a G5 configured in a RAID scheme. OS and PTLE are on an external FW drive. No probs yet.
