Ah okay, so you're just using it as a sound interface. Well that takes off a few things I was going to write

Hey there,

I have the same problem here after the new software and firmware update.

I have win7 x64 and now using the older software 6.0.7. I had problems with the S/PDIF port, so I updated it.

After the update, my computer got slow and I had several times this bluescreens:

Even after I installed my whole system new i get this bluescreen...
Now I'm using the software 6.0.7 and have these noises and speed changes.

Is there really now way to downgrade the firmware??

I'm sure there is a way, almost every electronic device has some kind of "emergency procedure" to flash his firmware. For example, when you run out of power during a firmware update, or simply when the firmware itself gets corrupted for whatever reason.

Only people from Avid could help us. I live in Italy, I can't send my device in the US just to get its firmware downgraded, that's stupid. I can do it myself, I only need to know how.

Please help us!

Hello at Avid....

I have the same problem with my fast track pro...since i updated the firmware to 1.0.2 and the driver to 6.1.10 I've been experiencing too many death bluescreens and lacks of audio....this is becoming annoying and i demand a solution urgently to this issue...

fyi...i'm from Mexico and i have a dell laptop...windows 7 home premium 64 bits...intel core i5 2.5 Ghz....RAM 4 GB...the DAW i use is Ableton Live 9...

As the other guys said...there must be an option to downgrade the firmware...unless a new firmware updating is on its way because the 1.0.2 sucks...

please i need a solution ASAP...PLEASE!!!

thanks in advance...frelser...

I have the exact same problem. Everything was working well before the upgrade but after it, I experience harsh sound and sound cut-offs. I am using Win8 64 bit.

Will someone from AVID please help us with the problem you created with the faulty upgrade?

Thanks.
