Just upgraded to 10.3.9, lost virtual instruments [SOLVED]

I know this problem has been discussed (http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=315604) , but I can't download them from the Avid site. I purchased the software used. I am the legal owner of the iLok and license, but I can't register on the site because it says that the code has already been registered. Is there any way for me to get these instruments back? I had them in PT 9.

• The Avid Virtual Instruments installer was updated to 10.3 on Mac to add support for Gatekeeper, whereas this installer remains at 10.0 for Windows. If needed, these files can be found in your Avid Account or through the Pro Tools 10.3 Downloads page.

(by the way, the subject on this threads says "upgraded to 10.03" and your sig says Pro Tools 10.3.9.)

Are you saying the instruments are not in your user account?
Are you saying you can't even get to your Avid user account (assuming you have one)?
If you have an Avid account and the products were registered in your name you don't need to register again. Are you the original owner of the license asset or did you buy it second hand? And if the latter did the seller complete the transfer of ownership with Avid?

I bought it second hand. The iLok was transferred to me, but i guess the license wasn't (??)

Probably wasn't if the seller didn't do the transfer of ownership with Avid. That's why I don't buy second hand software. You never know if you're getting a legitimate product or not.
