Fast Track Duo - driver for linux
Does anyone know if there is any unofficial Linux driver for Fast Track Duo? Could the drivers for Mac be applied to Linux? I know that OS-X is derived from FreeBsd and FreeBsd is derived from Linux so maybe with any third party software it could be possible?

Re: Fast Track Duo - driver for linux
There are no Linux drivers for any Avid interface. There are no third party drivers for any Avid interface on any OS. OS X is a lot more complex than just "being derived from FreeBSD" especially in device and audio handling. FreeBSD is not derived from Linux, the legacy BSD operating system was around over a decade before Linux. The chance of an interface manufacturer seeing the Linux DAW market as large enough to be justified doing a driver version for is uh zero.
