Default Cloud Projects Won't Open

Greetings. This is my first post. All of a sudden my PT Projects in the cloud won't download and open. When I select "Open Project" all of my projects up in the cloud show up. When I select one to open, it acts like it's downloading. And when I go to Task manager, it says it's downloading. But the status spins for a few minutes and then fails with a "Failed: No Project File" prompt.

One project did opened earlier in the evening, but no others (nor that project) will open now. Any ideas?

Sessions on my local drive open just fine.

I'm running Catalina 10.15.2 on a MacBook Pro with Pro Tools version 2019.12.0

Hi, welcome to the community.

I just tested this and am unable to open a Project in Catalina setup as well. Please contact Avid Support with your issue.

This was an ilok server issue. Should be fixed now

Unfortunately, it's still not working on my end. The download arrow shows up for each project on the Open Project. When I select a project and open it, it gets all the way to the download screen but then just stays at 0%. When I open the Task Manager, the progress wheel is spinning but it never moves beyond 0%. Eventually, it tells me the download failed - "Failed: No Project File."

I believe I'm having the same issue. When I attempt to open a project or session, it is listed, but literally nothing happens when I click "open." no new window, nothing happening in task manager, no spinning wheel, no error message. absolutely nothing.

Similar issue, I'm just stuck "Waiting for download to begin," even though I am the owner of this Project and no one else has started collaborating yet.



I'm not even sure the project is properly uploaded, because that whole process was a fiasco yesterday.

I'm not sure if our problems were/are the same, but it took AVID resetting my cloud account to fix it. Warning though, they had to wipe out all of my projects in the cloud. They checked with me first, of course, and fortunately I had local back-ups of the sessions.

And you're correct. Their customer service is the slowest I've ever seen. It took over a month to exchange two messages back and forth. NASA can communicate with probes in deep space faster than AVID communicates with its paying customers. Good luck!

I have a similar issue trying to open a project from the cloud on another computer. I see the list of projects, and when I click the project to open it, it just says "Looking for new versions on cloud..." and stays there for several minutes and never succeeds.
