Reamp with PT11 question
I've seen videos on how to do this method but people don't use the setup i use and I've been rereading a thread someone responded to back in 2012 but i'm not understanding how to do so.
I'm using OS X maverick on my laptop and i have the mbox2 pro connected via FireWire. I have the Axe-fx connected via USB & both interfaces are connected to my monitors. Can anyone clarify the steps for me? when i try and change what's mentioned in the thread i get no audio sound anywhere. Here's what was suggested "...Go to Audio/Midi settings audio window create a Aggregate Device that has your sound card...or build in sound card. Axe In and Axe out. Tick drift for Axe In and the other sound card, unstick Axe Out. Make sure the clock is set to Axe Out. In protools go into I/O options Rename your inputs...you should have whatever the other sound card has and the i/o for the Axe. In the track where you have the DI guitar use Axe-out as output The track you want to re-amp use Axe in and the other sound cards output to monitor. If you have weirdness going on means your clock dropped go back to audio/midi and make sure the other sound card isn't the clock. Also make sure you have delay compensation enabled other wise you gonna end up shifting thew tracks manually. On the axe select input from USB. That should about cover it."
