Can't move slider in mix window.

For some reason I can no longer move the slider for my vocals. As soon as I start playback the slider jumps back to the 0 position. There are little green arrows next to the dyn button that indicate that something called auto match is happening, but I don't know how to turn it off.

Please help.

You have accidentally written some fader automation to the track. On the arrange page change that track's view from waveform to volume. Look for any areas where there are breakpoint nodes, use the selector and backspace to delete the nodes ( don't worry about the one right at the start ).

Pretty much the same procedure if you notice pan, mute etc have unwanted automation also.

You can easily delete automation(choose to view it in the edit window) or you can turn off the automation for that(or any) track.

How do I just turn off automation for a track?

The little box that defaults to "READ". Click on it to see all the options. I highly recommend you spend some time with the manual, the DigiTV videos and youtube. Lots of good tutorial videos out there to help get you out of the gates.
