Default HELP! Building a Custom PC For Mixing.Remixing.Producing.

Hello All,

So I need some updated specs on recommended components to build a powerful PC that I can do mostly mixing, remixing, some producing and some mastering on in Pro Tools 7.4 LE (soon to be 8 or 9). Any ideas as to what a good motherboard, CPU, Cooler, RAM, Graphics card, etc etc I can purchase.

Also, if I have an Mbox Mini, is it necessary to have a sound card installed on this?? If so which one is preferred?

Thanks!!

What someone ought to do is start a thread called something like "best desktops for pro tools" or some such.
Then someone wanting to know about computer builds could go to THAT thread, and all the info they'd need would be there
