Oxygen8 v2 and PT 7.4 M-Powered Windows

I'm not getting it. I just bought an M-Audio Oxygen8 v2 and M-Audio "Drum and Bass Rig" virtual rack. I've loaded all the software and the plug-in is in Pro Tools 7.4 M-Powered. However, despite the fact that the PC recognizes the keyboard, I can't get it to work with PT. When I go to the MIDI set-up in PT and select Instruments, should the M-Audio keybords be listed with all of the others?

No.

The list of devices in MIDI Studio Setup is actually kind of old.

However, it's just a controller. You don't need to set it up in MIDI Studio Setup. All you need to do is select the device on the input of the track you are trying to use it with.

Setting it up in MIDI Studio Setup isn't going to do anything for you except change the name so that you can recognize it better.
