MIDI Question
Im trying to MIDI several MIDI devices through a DIGI 001 and 2 different computers. I have 2 MIDISPORT 4x4's a a Roland keyboard controller (2 MIDI out 1 in and 1 thru) a MPC 2000 (2 MIDI in 2 MIDI out) a Roland JV-2080 Sound module (1 MIDI in 1 MIDI out and 1 MIDI thru) I want Pro Tools to control ALL of my devices. I have Acid 5 pro and Reason on 1 computer that I would like to slave to PRo Tools also, that is what the second MIDISPORT is for (Also so the keyboard controller can trigger sounds in ACID and Reason)Can anyone help me with the connections and the settings in Pro Tools? I am using version 6.4 In the past I had everything connected in PT WITHOUT the second computer. Its too compilcated a setup for me now! ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. I know I can use REWIRE to route sounds to PT from ACID and Reason and I do have them on my PT rig but I would like to utilize the second computer to save on processing power when everything is playing at once.
