Mbox and Spdif I/O

Hey there,

done a search and can't seem to find anything on this topic. I have another sound card (metric Halo 2882 +dsp which has way better AD/DA converters than the mbox and i want to record my synth into that card and then via spdif into protools. I have the spdif outs going into the metric halo card and i can hear it fine..but when i want to play my synth and i have record enabled on the track i wish to record to i hear digital noise. Any ideas?? Didn't want to waste too much time with a client so i just put the synth directly into the mobox..but I don't want to do that all the time.

Nevermind...fixed it. Spent 5 minutes in my other sound card routing and got all working...had a digital feedback loop going on.
