Default Anyway to get pt to work with mac's aggregated device?

hi

i have a ozone with m-powered pt, i take the stereo out of the ozone via 1/4 to the ins of my duet, its very noizy, i get this fizz, so i like to ask if there is a way to output pt via apple aggregated device?

No, there is not.

The noise you're getting is most likely a ground loop - have you looked into that?

If you can give us an idea of how everything is connected, we may be able to help. BE SPECIFIC right down to where things are plugged into for power...

hi

Both the Ozone and Duet are connected normally to my Macbook pro 17, running Leopard,

However, i like to have the DUET be my main interface to my dynaudio BM6a monitors, and so i connected the stereo 1/4 outs of the Ozone to the 1/4 un balanced ins of the DUET.

I know that the stereo outs of any device are amplified and will have to be turned down very low to avoid distortion, but this is the only way i can monitor the Ozone through the DUET, but the high pitch fizz noise is annoying, i aint recording anything from the Ozone to the Duet but the fizz is pretty loud.

Can you suggest a better way to monitor the ozone?
