Intermittent Static Noise in PT 9
I just upgraded to PTools 9.01 from 7.4.2 with a the Crossgrade software. I am hearing a intermittent digital static signal when I load a session, even though it is not even playing. I deleted the files suggested from HD/User/Library and the DAE folder. Everything is ILok authorized. I am running Waves 8 plug in's.
I updated my firmware and drivers. Any ideas what this could be. In the past when I upgraded to 7.4.2 from 7.4 I was getting the same signal but updating the firmware fixed it. If anyone is familiar with this issue and knows how to rectify? Thank you!

Do you have any IK Multimedia plugins?

If you hear the static without even playing, could it be the speakers, cables, amp, electrical ground?
You need to provide more info on your system.
