Re: Come On 20.
Shouldn't this thread now be moved into the Pro Tools 2020 forum?
EDIT: Ask and ye shall receive!

Re: Come On 20.
As I expected, it's very well done at first glance. Avid is long, long, long, but works well (in my opinion) The folders in the mixer. Wow!

Haven't had a look yet, Do those problems still persist? Can i bounce a plugin with any oversampling and have it bounce in time? If not, hello Reaper. |

And just verified: Low Latency Monitoring still completely broken on my setup. Impossible to create proper cue mixes. |

This seems crazy to me. How long did the folders update take? And did they do any other big updates in the mean time? I remember in the time betwen pro tools 5 and 7 - lots of big changes. it seems crazy that things have slowed that much. Seeing an entire page on folders on the avid site was a giveaway. I really hoped the PDC issue would have been fixed. I mean, how can you even use the folder tracks if latent plugs cause so many issues? I am seriously not being facetious, i am just curious. It just feels a bit odd to say - well i will switch back to pt and only use zero latency plugins...no oversampling, no lookahead. |

Therefore, I'm also asking around in other threads whether anyone has actually ever gotten this to work at all. From what I'm reading I'm definitely not the only one with problems, but like you said, it would be interesting to hear of anyone that actually has it working on their system (talking specifically about LLM right now). Please step forward. |

Re: Come On 20.
Sorry to ask the dumb question, but why would someone even want to use LLM now that 64 buffer (and with some hardware 32 buffer) is a reality? Unnecessary restrictions that really don't fix any problem.
Off topic of course, but literally nobody uses LLM in real world and even fewer depend on it.
