Remote VO session to picture...
I'm looking at Source Connect as an option to do remote VO sessions for both wildlines and to-picture (up to 2 talent). From my understanding of how Source Connect works the talent require a Mac/PC laptop capable of recording audio - Audacity? Pro Tools First? Also does Source Connect work with two concurrent talent in separate remote locations? Then the the talent would need to monitor video coming from the Pro Tools system with mix minus. I'm thinking Source Live could work for this on an iPad? The other issue is comms with Pro Tools engineer and remote producer.
Are there other solutions out there that do the same thing? Anyone have experience in this area please chime in! Thanks, ScottyD |

Re: Remote VO session to picture...
It looks like the posting about using a Zoom meeting might do the trick instead of using Source Connect. I'll have to dig in to figure out how to wire up multiple remote clients.
