XMon connection ?

Here's the situation...

Right now I am skipping the XMon completely and going out of my Lavry's. However I would have more routing options if I went out of the Lavry into the XMon. My first question is will this degrade the quality of the audio when monitoring? Secondly, I have a surround setup and another set of monitors I use for A/B'ing. Using the XMon what would be the best way to connect all this up?
