Default Snow Leopard - Sluggish playhead in 8.0.1 but not in cs3

I've read several posts saying that PT 8.0.1 has problems with the playhead in the Edit window - sluggish movement and breakup of the playhead vertical line.

I've also seen this problem.
But when I completely uninstalled PT 8.0.1 and installed 8.0cs3 - no problem - normal movement of playhead.

I know that Snow Leopard isn't officially supported yet, but I've posted this as information.

On my Snow the same thing. Otherwise, it looks that it works good so far.

Question Re: Snow Leopard - Sluggish playhead in 8.0.1 but not in cs3

Hey I was just wondering what audio interface you are using, and what drivers you need for it to work with snow leopard 10.6 ? I have a M-Audio Pro fire 610 interface that will not load to the new Mac OS, and there is no listing of updated drivers on their website!! thanks....

I've updated my signature - M-Audio Ozonic keyboard and 1814.

After reading several posts on the M-Audio forum, I started a thread which explained how I installed the Ozonic driver on my iMac. For some reason, just a normal install of the driver worked on my MacBook Pro (Same driver).

There is a beta driver for the M-Audio 2626 that can also be used with the 610.
