Wait for Note misses first note
Setup:
PT 8 LE Axiom 61 to MPC 1000 MPC 1000 to Motif-Rack ES - Motif-Rack ES back to MPC 1000 Motif-Rack (MIDI Thru) to ES to Digi 002 I'm attempting to track into PT using the Wait For Note option. I'm actually recording into wav so I'm using MIDI only to trigger the record start in PT. I record enable the track and hit Play Start on the MPC - everything works fine except that it always misses a portion of the first note - what is the likely culprit? I am having trouble confirming that PT is a slave device - could this maybe be a contributing factor? Everything else is slaved. A pic of my setup is attached. Any and all help/suggestions are appreciated. Last edited by pullinghairout; 06-04-2016 at 10:46 PM. |
