Can Mix Rack take two MADI cards?

I'm getting mixed answers on this question. Can a MixRack for a D-show accept two MADI cards? I need to get about 90 channels into the D-show through MADI. Secondly, one person told me that I need to have two Stage rack cards installed in a mix rack or FOH rack in order to use two MADI cards. Is this true?

I can't speak for the mix rack, but in a stage rack you would need two Madi cards installed, which would give you 128 inputs.

Thanks Brent, I'm actually not planning to use a Stage rack at all. Just MixRack or FOH rack

A Mixrack takes only 1 MADI card

From the manual:

Qualified VENUE Systems

Qualified VENUE systems include VENUE D-Show systems,
VENUE Profile systems, and VENUE Mix Rack systems.
On VENUE D-Show and VENUE Profile systems, up to two
MADI cards can be installed in a VENUE FOH Rack for a total
of 128 channels of digital I/O.

On VENUE Mix Rack systems, one MADI card can be installed
in a VENUE Mix Rack for a total of 64 channels of digital I/O.

Mix Rack supports 2 MADI cards.

It should work out of the box unless it's an older Mix Rack in which case you may need to order a special ribbon cable called the "clock source jumper cable"
