Halion Symphonic Orchestra Black Friday
So what's the deal with the HSO Black Friday offer? Has this product been re-released? I thought it had been discontinued. It certainly doesn't work in the most recent versions of Pro Tools or Mac OSX 10/11, so beware...

It's a VST instrument so without a 'wrapper' it won't work in PT at all.
Not sure why this is on the Avid forum??? This has been a steinberg product for a long long time.

I couldn't find any evidence of Halion Sonic having been offered in the RTAS or AAX formats, the only formats supported in Pro Tools. Of course, that doesn't mean it has never been available in those formats.
As it is now, Halion Sonic is only available in the VST format, and will not directly work in any version of Pro Tools...I don't know if it will work with a wrapper such as Blue Cat's...
