Adaptec 3940UW
I just ugraded to OS 9.1 and PT5.1.1 on my 9600. My current Adaptec firmware is version 3.0 and I never had any problems. Is there an advantage to updating to the latest version of firmware? Just looking for possible reasons why I get such hard crashes with PT5.1.1 that I have to pull the power to recover from them.

I'm running the latest (4.1), but I am having problems with booting since I went to 9.1. I think the problems have to do with the disk driver, but I suppose it could be Adaptec's FW. The 4.1 firmware has been out there for well over a year now; so, a lot of people have been using it.
