Default Dear Avid

Automatic Delay Compensation is now a feature in EVERY SINGLE PROFESSIONAL DAW but Pro Tools LE. Do something about it now, LE isn't a child's program, people make real albums with it.

Yes, you are right.
But I don't think we will hear any official word here about adc.

This is the one thing that makes me even think about changing DAW. If Pro Tools LE had ADC, it would be a nobrainer...

Not only do they not give us ADC but in PT 8 they have made the vol/pk/dly field numerals very difficult to read which of course is where we have to see to delay compensate.
How hard can they make it?

It would be bad arse if they were to give us ADC, nearly unlimited tracks like Logic and the ability to use different interfaces like Logic. I believe that if this were to happen everybody would switch from whatever DAW they are using to Pro Tools and Pro Tools would become ungodly unstoppable.

Imagine the possibilities. WoW!

I know it's been said before...

But I'm SURE that THIS will be the thread that finally makes them implement ADC...

Yeah.. Whatever

ADC is for children.

Real men and women have no need for it.

(But in the interest of full disclosure, I do drive an automatic).

No it would not. Every DAW has people complaining about something.

I use LE at home on my 003. At work it is HD with a Sony DMX R100.

With high track counts I don't see how you guys use LE at all.
without Delay compensation I could not work without a lot of extra time.

Maybe all the engineers at Avid/Digidesign should have "ADC" stamped onto their foreheads...oh wait, they already have for like the last year or more!

C'mon guys. They can't even fix the bouncing CoreMIDIFramework folder bouncing on the dock. And you expect them to build ADC?
