Default Automation - write to all shortcut

What's the shortcut to write all current automation parameter settings to the complete selection.
I want to manually set a level, apply EQ etc and write that to a selection.
I know about option-apple-/ but that only writes the automation after the last modification moment in the parameters.
This shortcut does work when suspend is enabled in the automation window (apple-4). There must be a quicker way withou having to press suspend each time you want to do it.

I'm not too sure what you mean by a quicker way. I find the suspend pretty straight forward to change automation.

Maybe you could explain more in detail, where you'd like to get faster.

Use Preview!!!

Make selection.
Put any/all tracks in Latch.
press play, maybe have loop enabled.
Fiddle til your heart's content.
When everything is as you like it, press Punch Preview and then Write To All, which since you made a selection it will only apply to your selected area.

If you want to apply these settings elsewhere, you may want to also Capture them after you've pressed Write To All. Then they will be in the buffer and can be punched in the next chorus for example.

I have a D Command so I use the dedicated buttons so you may have to click with the mouse or there may be a key command.

Hope this helps.
