Default chemical that eats away aurolex foam?

So i bought some foam/spray a guitar center and put it up...

i took it down recently, and i have 'foam leftovers' stuck on the wall.
i tried taking it off with a pudy knife, but it dosnt take it off completely..

i want to paint the room and i need to get rid of the foam leftovers.

any ideas? are there any sprays or some other technique on how i can get rid of it?

Acetone is the correct spelling. Have plenty of ventilation when you do this and use it sparingly until you find out how it affects the surface. You will likely need to repaint anyway. Let us know how good it works as I have some remnants that I need to clean off as well.
