Problem with Uninstall of LE

I am trying to unistall LE that came with M Box 2. Using Add and Remove Programs, I get this error:
>setupdll\setupdll.cpp (469)
PAPP:Pro Tools LE
And some computerese.

I click OK and get Setup has experienced an error. some useless suggestions, and Error code: -5005

I want to uninstall just to reinstall because the original install was corrupted by a Microsoft Update that was pushed at the same time.

Use the JUMP button below, and post your question (and try a search) on the correct LE forum - this TDM forum is for different hardware, so we're not familiar with issues like yours.

I'm not sure if my guess is right, but if installing the same version anyway, you may not have to uninstall first - you might just try it and see if installing over the previous one will work (there may also be a 'Repair Installation' option in Add/RemovePrograms, which could work)
