Default Repeatable Audiosuite crash with Pitch N Time, can somebody test ?

Repeatable crash, after a difficult day with 5 crashes doing editing and pitching i’ve set aside some time to try and work out what is going on , please test if you can.

New session, i was 44.1 24bit interleaved 12.4 10.9.5 HDX

1 Create mono track, don’t rename

2 Consolidate a few bars of silence so you have an empty region , now called Audio 1_01

3 With that region selected, commit selected tracks, -options - don’t consolidate clips, volume or pan, copy sends , group assignments , insert after selected track, Do Nothing, offline

So you now have original and a track called Audio 1.cm, with a region on it called Audio 1-cm-01

4 Save at this point if you want to retest

5 Pitch N Time pro audiosuite, (i’m on 3,0.2) 1 semi up, process

Crash every time here, anyone else confirm? if so i’ll tell Serato

I got a feeling i’ve seen this before with another plugin previously , maybe it’s something to do with the name it gives it when it’s processed.

I can’t test this on 12.5 as it was such a disaster for me with VI’s i’m not going back!

Pitch'n'Time needs an update.

It's been crashing PT for me for a while now, every time I hit render.

Access violation here but no crash. However, it happily PNT'd the original track at Step 5, just not the committed one.

PT 12.4, used as an audiosuite, I'll get a crash 60% of the time.
I'm done using it.
Waves Soundshifter with Commit works like a charm and sounds better

Not sure if this is related, however AudioSuite does not render Avid's own SoundReplacer plug in 12.7. Works in 12.6.1.

Not a crash ... just no output.

Seems like 12.7 has AudioSuite issues ...
