Trouble Registering ProTools in iLok
HELP! I'm trying to register my newly purchased ProTools license (Perpetual License NEW - Education Institution Pricing) via my new iLok License Manager account but I keep getting this error message:
This iLok account does not appear to have an eligible license for this upgrade. Can anyone offer up some help, ideas, suggestions, or explanations? I'm all ears....but, please dumb-it-down a little for me; I'm just now upgrading from my ProTools LE 5.1/Digi001/Mac G4 that I've been using since 1996. This new-school DAW and licensing world that I've entered is all-new to me. Thank you

To me the error message tells you do not have a license or the license is too old for upgrade. Please contact Avid Support
