XPand2 Not working with PT 10 Upgrade
I just now, yes just now, did my free upgrade to PT 10.0.1 that came free with my PT 9.0.6 that I bought 6 years ago.
I had a few issues, but the only one that I can't figure out is this. I opened an old session with an instrument track where I used some strings on the Xpand2 plugin. It is active, it shows activity as the notes play, but no sound is coming out of the speaks. All the other track we recorded of our guitar and voice are playing, but the instrument track is silent. No idea what's up here. Please advise. Thanks

Is the midi clip greyed out and not blue like it should be ???

No, its blue. Its normal. It is playing, just no sound. I even made a new song, with a instrument track using xpand2. Nothing. I play my midi controller and can see the signal on the meter, but no sound either.

I remember having problems with instrument tracks in early versions of 10, sometimes they just didn't work. I worked around it by using a midi track and route it to the instrument track or a aux with the instrument on it. You could try that.
I don't think I ever experienced it in 10.3.9 or 10.3.10. Should be possible to find the upgrades somewhere.

I want to do the update to 10.3.10... does anyone know how to get that at this late a date?
Is it available with the software updater that came with PT10 or do I have to do another install from scratch? oh by the way, I found out how to fix the glitches with the xpand2... I can give anyone a link to the instructions if needed..
