You have to talk to a dealer to buy them outright. But there is supposed to be a way -- just they are pushing subscriptions online and aren't going to put the perma-buy option available on the web.

Avid is worse than Adobe, where the CC is monthly or yearly based...
The DIFFERENCE... There is no base price for software. You start to pay the abo and get everything...
In Avids case... YOU PAY 2499 USD for Protools Ultimate and then you are forced to pay the update and support plan... 400 Dollar a year... and now Voice Packs are an ABO...
Oh thats not good...Avids cashgrab.... Why did we pay 2499 Euro for PTU in the first place..........

As I mentioned, you can find that perpetual is available but only through dealers. They haven't publicly released prices.

good to know. Glad they are doing perpetual licenses. I pay my mortgage with this software and I cant have a hick-up in usage if something happens to avid. I will never be on subscription aside from the "support plan"

I know some of you scoring cats use upteen, jillion tracks and have need of this, but I just got 384 on this update and I’m as happy as a pig in slop.

Looking at the monthly/yearly rental prices I’m figuring a perpetual licensed track pack will be $499-$599 for each track pack. If you need ‘em I suppose it’s a good deal.

Seems very overpriced to me. If I want to buy three packs, it'll cost me about $450 per year... more than the PT Ultimate subscription itself. Ouch.

Please vote with your dollar. Selling track packs in 2019 is a bad business practice.
