Default punch happens a second later...
don't know why but every time I punch it happens about 1 second later.... any clues?

Do you have a 1 or 2 bar count in selected?

Also whats your PT version and how is your system health?

no, no bar count, PT 12.4, system is working great with everything else... I also just noticed that it happens in one session in particular, can't find the culprit...

MIDI count off? Not happening to me, but did to a friend and he said, IIRC, that MIDI count off was on.

In mix window, go to "view" menu and enable "delay compensation". Check to see if you have any plugs or routing causing lots of latency. This could be the cause.
