Default transport window disappeared

hi

not sure what happened... must have hit a key, mouse clicked something, i don't know but all of a sudden my transport window disappeared.

tried minimizing windows... thinking it might hiding at the bottom somewhere - nothing!

i checked and all the display settings look to be normal - it's just gone!

could i have somehow sent it behind a track or somewhere?

help please!

002r/inspiron 9200/gig of ram/etc...

thanks
t

Have you changed your screen resolution recently or opened a session from someone else running at a larger screen resolution? Change your resolution to a high setting, restart Pro Tools and move the Transport Window to an area closer to the top left of the screen - quit Pro Tools and reset your resolution back.

actually i had this problem once,

open an older session that you know the transport was there
and if it you see it drag it to the center of the screen
close the session then open up the other session where you
could not find it before

hi fellas

i don't have an older session this is my 1st / one and only
i tried the ctrl+1 thing but it moves me thru the tools then i tried all the other shortcuts... ctrl+2, 3, 4, etc.

i believe that this command only works on a numeric keypad like one you'd get with a desktop - i'm working on a laptop (dell inspiron 9200) i've had the machine for a couple months and after some initial tweaks has been great.

this is the most bizarro thing i've ever seen - i can "show" everything and even though it says it's showing the transport - it's nowhere to be found.
