Default Artist Mix Laggy / Stuttery with PT & Logic Pro X?

Using my Euphonix Artist Mix (Same as avid artist mix i believe) with Pro Tools and Logic X, I've found it quite laggy and stuttery (stops responding for a bit then catches up etc). The stuttering might be only half a second long, but it does make automation recording quite janky to use.

I made a quick video to demonstrate how it looks in both PT and Logic:

I haven't seen many people reporting this online, and was wondering if I am doing something wrong from my side?

I am using the latest versions of Pro Tools, Logic X, Euphonic Drivers and Firmware, as of today. macOS Mojave 10.14.6. Direct ethernet connection from controller to iMac Pro.

Appreciate any feedback from anyone with experiences!
