I'm curious if Digi received my session and if it has shed any light on the problem.

I'm having it looked into currently. I'll get back to you as soon as I have something worthwhile to report.

I'm having this problem too. All my automation shifts about 50 ms later in the session after I press stop. Turning off ADC stops it from happening.

Some channels in the session have delay on them, but the audio track I'm writing to doesn't. It is, however routed through a series of aux tracks that do have delay. Routing it out the main outputs also stops the automation from shifting, though it also introduces delay on the audio track.

From reading these posts, it sounds like it must be some odd preference we do or don't have checked since Drew and others aren't having this problem. I don't remember ever having this issue before either.

I've tried it with and without the "compensate for input/output delays while recording" box checked, to no effect.

What else am I missing?

That sounds exactly like my problem. Still haven't heard anything from Digi about it, either.

I'm having the same issue with midi synth outboard gear and ADC.. is there a suggestion from Avid as to when to enable ADC.. as in, "enable ADC only when printing a mix" type thing.. i've had the problem with 8.0.0 and 8.0.3...
I've read multiple posting on the issue and the manual.. but i'm still a bit vague.. No Definitive answer from Digi/Avid.. is there a workaround? am i misusing ADC? i feel like a (pro) Tool..

It's not you it's ADC. There is something definitely broken about it.
