Midi latency with dante setup
Hi there,
I'm using PT on my Laptop connected to a Focusrite RED NET 5 Interface via Dante. With that configuration I experience a tremendous latency working with Midi even when sample buffer size is set to 64 samples. If I use the same session with my MacBook speaker output, latency is normal and fine. My question: Does anybody experience similar phenomenons with Dante or RED NET 5? I would like to locate the problem without buying another interface/connection and finding out that the problem is located somewhere else. Thanks in advance Matthias |

Re: Midi latency with dante setup
Hi Matthias,
Are you using the Dante Virtual Soundcard to connect your laptop to the Rednet interface? If so, Dante Virtual Soundcard has a relatively high latency, compared to connecting directly to a dedicated device. What kind of latency figures are you seeing in ms? Tim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
