Default Xpand! not found in the plugins folder, will not load.

I am running 10.4.11 on a Mac Pro, 7.4cs2 PTHD. I have done all necessary plugin updates and still ProTools does not recognize Xpand! in the plugins folder even though it is there and installed properly.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Xpand! not found in the plugins folder, will not load.

For anybody else who encounters this message, here is what worked for me:

due to minor version inconsistencies between the plugin update files on the 7.4HD factory install CD and the Updates page, I went to the PLUGIN PRODUCTS page, where there is a link to Xpand at the bottom. This link takes you to the Xpand page where there is another link called "Download".

This version was more recent than anything else, including the "Plugin Updater" for 7.4 on intel macs located on the "Downloads and updates" page..

I also noticed that if PTHD does not launch and perform a one-by-one slow scan of the plugins directory, then it will not see that a new Xpand has been installed. If this happens, re-install Xpand from its own product page and relaunch PTHD.
