Digi002 Rack - send analog inputs through ADAT out?

Is it possible to setup the Digi002 to pipe the analog input signals direct through to the ADAT out?

You mean use it as a a/d converter? You can, but not without a computer to do the routing. And you would also have some latency.

yes, I am aware that I can set up busses for the routing in software. I wanted to make the Digi002 act as an ADAT "slave" to another hardware device, but since I cannot directly route the analogs to the optical out through the hardware without introducing latency from external programs, then, unfortunately, it is not a feasible option in my situation.
