It's amazing for real.

Compared it to our 3 distressors with brit mode on two of them and dang dang dang !!! And it came with our yearly $14.95 everything bundle subscription so no extra cost to use this gem.

The cost of all these great plugins are less than 1 Caramel Latte a week and who needs that extra coffee 4 times a month when you can use all the Slate stuff for one less coffee a week hehe Best Purchase we done this year.

SlateDigital has got this whole plugin venue figured out to the tee and hopefully we see more new releases this year from the best plugin sounding awesomeness. Thank You Steven and Company! We LOVE Stress

How are you downloading it?

I'm signed up to Slate with the Everything Bundle Sub - but it hasn't come up as an update for VMR in my gobbler account?

Every time Slate has a new release or an update, I'm expecting it to show up either as NEW or an UPDATE in the Gobbler app that runs constantly on my machine - however, it never does. I usually just wait until I reboot or something, and then it will apply all the new updates.

With FG-STRESS, I didn't want to wait so I loaded a browser and logged into my Gobbler account and there was the new installer. I downloaded it and installed the new version (with FG-Stress).

Gobbler wasn't working for me, but it just started working about 10 minutes ago...Restart Gobbler and try again now!

I downloaded the offline installer rather than waiting for Gobbler to work.

So- the plugin.... it is exactly the same as my hardware Distressor.
No ifs, or buts- it is exactly the same.
This is a massive achievement and I couldn't be happier with it.

As much as I dig Slate's plugins, and I use plenty of them, the subscription is a big turn-off for those of use that purchased a lot of his stuff. If he really wanted to stay in good graces with former buying customers, he should come up with a sweetheart deal, like if you paid $x to buy plugins, you should be offered 3 years of rental up front. For me to get the "everything" subscription now would be like throwing away close to a $grand

From what I remember, he gave customers free months of subscription time based on how many plugins you owned...I owned them all, I got 6-12 free months...Can't really remember right now...All I know is I've gotten much more than my money's worth using Slate plugins throughout the years, and am more than happy to continue paying chump change for access to new and existing plugins.

And if you feel cheated, why not simply just continue buying the perpetual licenses? Or sell your perpetual licenses and get a subscription? You have every option you could want save for Slate's first unborn child.

Loving FG-Stress so far! I can see it being useful on a lot of sources, especially rock. I love the way it grabs the source. You can crank it pretty bad and it still sounds great! Good times we live in!
