Default Digi & Avid Get on the same page

Digi, I cant belive that you and avid are owned by the same company yet your products arent compatable. It seems silly that you cant run Pro Tools Le, and Xpress DV3.5 on the same machine because of a software glitch. Im sure that alot of people that do video and audio that are using either product would love to be able to have them on the same machine especially since they are probably used by the same budgeted group. Hopefully you guys can get this problem fixed.

HERE HERE!

I'm a registered owner of both products. The fact that I need two separate computers with the same OS is unbelievable. I love my 001 and Xpress DV. The fact they don’t work together id disappointing.

Side note: Does anyone know (digi / Avid) if Xpress 3.5 can export OMF file that are useable by Digi Translator 2.0. I know Xpress 3 OMFs wouldn’t work. I would buy Translator if it worked between these two systems.

I think you can give it a test-drive. There is a digitranslator demo (full functional for 14 days or so...).
