2022.12 copy/paste clips broken

Anyone else have this?

Copy / paste audio clips does nothing. Happens on both of my systems (M1 MacBook Pro and M1 Mac studio)

I found a workaround, toggle mix view - back to edit view (2 x shift-command-0). After that it works, but then if I do anything else after copy-paste, it's broken again.

Running PT on Rosetta mode.

I've had the same issue pop up for me (randomly) too. I cannot pin what causes this, its usually late into a session and copy/paste will no work. Command-C/Command-V as well as Edit > Copy / Edit > Paste do nothing!!

Very frustrating for such a basic operation to be broken.

Option-Dragging a clip will work and has been my work around but is not suitable when you need to move a clip more than a few minutes down the timeline.

Please look into this Avid!!!

Can report same issue here on Intel iMac - only workaround in 2022.12 I could find was that you can use "C" and "V" without the command key and it'll copy and paste - but it was such a flow killer (muscle memory being what it is) that I rolled back to 2022.10 which doesn't have this behaviour.

I have observed that, if the "Clip Effects" tab is visible, the normal CUT and PASTE commands do not work with automation data, etc...

I experience this randomly on my system as well. I usually close the session and re open it.
FWIW, I always have my clip FX tab open.

Exact same issue here with 2022.12 an cut and paste. It only seems to happen when Clip Effects window is open. When I close it, cut and paste work normally again. Pretty big bug I hope is addressed soon.
