Default Absynth inside Digi 001/PTLE!

Does anyone here use Absynth? It's an incredible sounding soft synth that's easy on your cpu. Unfortunately, Absynth is not DirectConnect, but I figured out a way to get Absynth into PTLE! Set up an IAC bus inside OMS called "Absynth" and launch Absynth. Set the routing in Absynth as the IAC bus you just created. Lancnch PTLE and create a midi track and an aux stereo track. Set the midi track to Absynth-1. Now you'll need a stereo mini jack to dual mono 1/4" cable to get the sound out ofyour mac into the 001 (I know the sound out of your Mac is only 16-bit, but hey, at least it works!) Plug the mini jack into the sound out port on your Mac and the 1/4" plug (two mono feeds) into your 001. Now set the input of your aux track to receive on whatever channel you plugged the jacks into. And that's it! You'll have the sound routed out of your Mac running into your 001. I use it this way and it works great! You set the levels of the Absynth through your Mac sound volume, so make sure your volume on your Mac is up. Hope this helps someone out there who wanted to use the Absynth inside PTLE as bad as I did!

I wrote this before on the DUC : I like very much absynth myself.
So far it is not multitimbral, so I use-it as a "sample-source" :
I record "stuff" on the absynth`s sequencer, I save-it as an AIFF
file and than I send-it (via Peak) to my K2500 sampler.
Works great! .....if you know what I mean.....
