Default spikes and clicks on consolidated warped/quantized tracks

is it just me or is anyone else having this problem:

put a drum multi track session into warp mode and quantize the whole session to 4ths or 8ths whatever you need - then after quantizing it consolidate the audio files to one file

I´m getting crazy spikes and clicks on some of the consolidated tracks - this is 100% reproducable...

anyone else?

Default Re: crazy bug..!

Are you saying Elastic Audio is enabled while consolidating?
Do the spiked peaks in the consolidated clip look like flat screwdriver heads?

If so, this can occur when consolidating before committing/rendering your EA adjustments.
The problem can be rectified by committing/rendering elastic audio tempos FIRST and then consolidating.
Or perhaps, try consolidating one track at a time.

It is still possible to consolidate while EA is enabled and the unpredictable behavior seems to happen very rarely depending on program material/data.
When it does happen, I simply undo the consolidation and consolidate again. This has consistently worked for me and renders the clip/signals properly the second time.

If not, try the first suggestion or consolidate one track at a time (undoing and re-consolidating if necessary).

Hope that helps.

P.S. Others may chime in who have more experience regarding the application of quantization during, before or after this process.

OK I'm just learning about the warp view option so understand your post better.
I don't have any experience using this view option/function so not 100% sure about what I'm talking about
But just found a good video on it. Cool how you can just shift select parts of the clip into time manually.

Hope you find an effective workaround or a way to minimize the problem.

Yes I've had the same problem with warped audio and plenty of spikes when it gets consolidated.
